After Graduation I worked 5 years @ Northwestern Cement Plant, then moved to Waterloo, Ia, Went to trade school to become a Machinist, I then worked @ Schoitz Engineering And received my journeyman papers as a all around Machinist, I was there 5 Years, I then went to work for another 5 years in another job shop before going to John Deere.I spent 27 years there, receiving a UAW Journeyman's card in skilled trades. I retired in 2002 from John Deere Waterloo works, and spend our winters in Mission, Texas. In 2007 we sold our home and are full time RVers, and live in our 40' 4 slide, motor home, returning to Iowa in the summers. Our two daughters and two grandsons live in Iowa and Minnesota. We have an extended family of three grand kids And two great grand kids living in Iowa and Texas.
