I received correspondence inviting my aunt, Penelope Cabell, to the MCHS
class reunion. I regret to inform you Penny passed away on 07/26/2005 in Chicago where she
had been a residence for most of her adult life. My mother, Phyllis Reneau (Cabell) and my
uncle Hubert Cabell were also alumni from MCHS class of 1940. Both are deceased as well. I
know how much they all talked about their wonderful school days at MCHS. I think it is
wonderful your class is organizing a class reunion. Enjoy the weekend with your class!
