December 26th, 1941 - November 1st, 2012
James Huber, 70-year-old resident of Hillman, Minn., formerly of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Mason City, Iowa, passed away on Nov. 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Onamia, Minn. 
Jim was a graduate of Mason City High School and the University of Iowa. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Huber, and father, George Huber, and step-mother, Ellen (Toddy) Huber. 
He is survived by his wife, Lucy, and six children: Glen Litwiller, Michael Huber, Kristin (Huber) Abel, Greg Litwiller, Julie (Litwiller) Magie, and Melinda (Huber) Griffin; a brother, Loren Huber, a sister, Loretta (Huber) Mathahs and step-mother Marie (Smedsrud) Huber, all of Mason City; and a younger brother, Charles Huber, of Minneapolis, Minn. 
Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery near Hillman, Minn.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Onamia, Minn., and two hours prior to services at Holy Cross on Monday.

Thanks to Craig Pross for letting us know.

Jim was a smart, out going physical guy.

It is hard to imagine when we are young what life has in store for us.

I think back on the classes, the sports and the social times with Jim, he was always bigger than the room he was in.

My thoughts go out to Jim's family and the families of all our classmates who are enduring the trials of aging.

My heart goes out to the Huber family.  Jim was a great guy!  God Bless the family but rejoice for his life.
